Who is The Branch For?
Christian Young Adults
The Branch is for single high school grads, ages 18-23 who have counted the cost of laying their lives down for Christ. You don't have to have it all together but you should be intentionally seeking Jesus and wanting to live your life in service to Him.
A Passion for Youth Ministry
Youth ministry is what Cedarwood and Youth For Christ are all about. We want our Branch students to be ready to invest their time into the lives of teenagers with the goal of sharing the Gospel. During our summer months Branch students will serve as summer staff during our summer camp. Our summer ministry is designed for teenagers and on a mission to share the gospel with them. Find out more about our summer ministry HERE.
A Desire to Learn and Grow
We are looking for teachable young adults ready to develop roots and a strong foundation in the Gospel and the Bible. Whether you have grown up in the church or have newly come to faith we want you to be able to read and prepare for class, participate in discussions, and listen to instruction. Our hope is that you grow in the knowledge and wisdom from the Bible and experience the life change that knowing and following Jesus brings.
Flexibility and a Sense of Adventure
The nature of youth ministry is that not everything goes as planned or looks the same from week to week. We are looking for students who are able to “go with the flow” and are up for whatever life in this community brings them. We are looking for a willingness to participate more than a variety of skills and abilities.
A Commitment to Community
Community is a huge part of Cedarwood and The Branch. For us living as a community is more than just sharing a home or a work space. We are friends and family. We share what we have, hang out together and learn from each other. Our lunch tables are places of discussion on theology or the latest world events or sharing a funny video we saw. Some evenings we gather and play games or watch a movie. We also meet weekly for Bible study and prayer. We value our community and want you to do the same.
